side rear kitchen unit advice please

hi,
I've had my bongo for several years and I am thinking about installing a rear, nearside kitchen unit that is possibly removable.
The ones on e bay seem a bit expensive. I am a reasonably good diy-er and have the tools etc to make one but could do with detailed pics or even better, a diagram or if anyone knows where there is a reasonably priced one to purchase, I would be greatly interested.
Many thanks for any help/ suggestions.

A DIY example. Not particularly pretty but does what we need! It is held down by 2 upside down coach bolts located in the rail. (Grind the head to make a T with the shelf. Drop what's left of the head into the rail groove then turn 90 degrees to "lock" it into the groove and bolt through a bracket underneath the unit.)

We've painted it since!

Hi and thanks for the replies,

I was considering making something like this;

Any advice on access to material suppliers and perhaps, if anyone has one, measurements etc would be greatly appreciated.

many thanks all
