Morning all!
Made up to be a part of this club and I hope I can contribute as well as pilfer all your information!

Just registered as a member as I'm looking to buy a Bongo soon.
Already viewed my first one (V84 EPR) in Chesterfield yesterday. But can't get carried away.

What brought me here was to research the Bongo and ive taken away some great info that helped me when looking at one.

I used to be a mechanic and vaguely remember doing something on a Bongo once. Maybe an oil change? But having read up on here we definitely weren't Bongo friendly and I'll be taking any new Bongo to the garage in Dore, as recommended on here.

Im based in Sheffield and if I can ever lend a hand I'll always try and help.

Im looking forward to owning a Bongo and going on my first campervan adventure.

Welcome to the club and the Forum Scaggs. If you ever fancy popping round to Bongo Mission Control for a chat and a cup of tea, get in touch! We are near the Broadfield off Abbeydale Road.

Welcome Scaggs and hope you find yourself a good one. Rust/welding needs now something to be alert about as time passes i reckon. Great motors, but getting old.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Just sorting insurance out. Trickier than I thought. Tried one of recommend companies and they refused to quote me. Because it's my main vehicle and I work. Strange. Irony is I cycle to work.

If it is converted then try the Camping and Caravan club. They are by far the cheapest I could find but I think you do need to be converted. I found that an unconverted bongo would cost me approx. 2.5x as much to insure!
