I'm planning a trip to the South East in the Bongo.
We've got 2 kids and a dog.
We've not been that way much at all so would like some recommendations on nice places to visit.
We would probably like to go through Colchester at some point as we have family there that we would like to visit. Other than that we're open to suggestions!
Recommendations on good dog/child/bongo friendly campsites would be great too!
We would like a mix - some cheap and cheerful £10 a night type places and some plusher type sites too.
Any advice would be good so we can start to plot a route/plan out.
Thanks

Near Colchester there is Waldegraves Farm on Mersea Island. Not been there, but good reports. It's a potential location for our July meeting next year.

Bright house farm near Bury St Edmunds a lovely site ... Our favourite quick night away from it all. Maisy Mazda loves it and always gets a warm welcome. Great rural location for dogs and children to run around and play. Owners amazingly friendly. BSE a great little town to visit. You can play spot the Bury Bongo several of us around!

Excellent - thanks for these,
The first is a little more than we like to pay but does look interesting so might try it for a night or two.
The second looks good and well priced.
