Bongo Fury

Hey all, one my Freda the nearside very rear window (the one that is covered by the door when it is slid back) doesn't open, it's not broken, it just doesn't seem to have the mechanism. It looks like it have the front hinges but not the bit you kind of pull out and push to open the window. Is this normal or is it just Folkley?

That's standard - none of them do, due to clearance issues with sliding door i suspect?

I thought that may be the case. I'll just make the wife sleep that side

This question may seem to some like a daft question... ...but there is no such thing as a daft question....if you do not know then please ask on here and someone here will provide an answer......we all had to start somwhere.

When I got my first Bongo I could not find how to lower my spare wheel... ...so I phoned the bloke I bought it from...he told me that when you open the tailgate you will see a slot there for the handle.... .....did I feel a right numpty ?...yes I did... ....but I know now....

Be careful what you wish for. Being next to the sliding door has advantages when you need a pee in the night.

Haha, I had seen on here a thread about people's "pee solutions" which made me laugh, until I had to sleep in the ATF after a skin full and woke up needing a pee at 5am

Yes, i'm the bloke who installed a pee tube many years back, drawing on lessons learned from gliding. They all howled with laughter on here when i first posted about it, but rumour has it that one or two others quietly copied the idea. Why risk a bottle up there, getting your bottles confused, risk of leaking etc

If you've never tried it, you should. Mind you, i've been trying to get back into it these last two summers and the weather has undermined my attempts: gliding is essentially a fair weather sport (a bit like Bongo camping, for me )
