V6 not running right

Just been away for the weekend van was fine but on the drive home seems to have lost a bit of power and feels like a fluttering sensation when accelerating, also when pulling to a stop but still in drive the revs seem to flutter as if it wants to cut out (although it doesn't) slip it into park and they rise a little and seem constant, back into drive start moving and having to give it far more pedal than would normally, end of the journey is a big hill up to home and she felt like she was struggling to get enough fuel to get up there? I'm thinking an issue with fuel filter maybe or the bango filter? Has only had a full service a month ago. Also at last service the air conditioning belt and tensioner were changed all working fine but doesn't get anywhere near as warm as it used to through the blowers, had it on 28 degree in the morning and only barely warm air coming through? Any ideas would be appreciated

You are probably on the right track to start with the filter, also check the fuel cap, and thermostat (if the flap diverters are working as the should in the heater box).

PS not the banjo filter.

Good Luck.

HT electrics or a spark plug also a candidate? Are they new or been round the block a bit?

Heaters. Are both front and rear heaters affected? When the engine is up to temp, feel the rubber hoses going into the heaters and see if they are hot (careful, in case they are!!). If they aren't hot, then did the garage do anything coolant related at the last service? If they are hot, then it could be a problem with the control rods/flaps located under the dash.
