Photobucket - same photo, tested to make sure there was nowt wrong with it.

All good so far

Google photos - the method that you would expect to work doesn't. This does NOT work:
- Open up the photo from the album
- click the share icon top right
- click get link
- click copy
when pasted in to forum's editor the URL looked like this and gives an error when enclosed between the IMG tags

But this method does work:
- Open up the photo from the album
- Right click on the picture itself
- Select Copy image address (the option may vary between browsers - I'm using Chrome)
this collects a horribly long URL which when pasted between IMG tags in the forum's editor displays fine: displays as


Pre-requisites
The photo was resized within the forum's size spec
Album and photo sharing was set to Anybody with the link in Google photos. I presume it would also work if sharing set to Public.

I'd be interested to know if somebody else can see the 2nd picture ok

I find Face book easier to directly post pics on .. and tend to use Photobucket for Forums ..

Too late I fried my brain years back
