Hi the interior of our 1999 aft is suffering from mildew. Can anyone recommend a place that is selling replacements?

Bongo Spares sometimes have them available, but check the size carefully you need, there are at least two if not three sizes over varying versions.

Thanks g8dhe. I had a look there the other day but could not see anything. I was hoping that someone would be making new replacements. The only place I have found so far that will make them is proud to pop who quoted £465. I am trying to find out if this is good value or not.

Might sound like a silly question but have you tried treating/cleaning the mildew. There are a lot of excellent products out there just need a wee bit patience. Yes to have a new canvas fitted Will be expensive.

Hi teenmal last summer we tried a few products on it while we managed to stem the spread they never removed the dark patches. If there are any products you can recommend I will give them a go.

The latest word on the street was Dettol Mildew and Mould remover. Just remember whatever you use you need to carry out the manufacturers instruction to the letter.(no short cuts)
Good Luck.

I have used Teenmals suggestion and it works a treat.
The first attempt didn't go to well left a few dark patches but the second attempt, a couple of months later, went well.
The first attempt I washed it off too early the next time I left it on for longer and worked a panel at a time with a nail brush.
You need to make sure it is thoroughly washed off as it is basically bleach.
For the washing off I used loads of old towels and a garden sprayer.
Smells a bit afterwards but that soon goes.

Own Risk, mind.

With all these products i advise good ventilation and breathing mask - certainly the dettol chlorine product needs this, but it works very well. Wash off thoroughly after use. I doubt any replacement service would match the quality material and engineering of the original though i could be wrong.

Yes the mask and venting is very important.
