We'd be up for it but there aren't many options amongst those dates.
Out of all those available weekends, the only ones we could do would be the weekends of 16th or 23rd April, 28th May, 4th June or 29th October

				What odd days!
I could do 12 - 14 May, 2 - 4 June, 9 - 11 June or 27 - 29 October at the moment.
26 - 29 May is Whitsun so I would avoid like the plague!

Ok, after a brief discussion in a field in Stourport, the only remaining date for this year is the weekend of 28th/29th October so a few of us are up for it.
All welcome, campers and day-visitors. Postcode for the campsite is WS15 2UA although that's not entirely accurate, use 52.745157, -2.000030 in your SatNag if you're using one.
For those who haven't been before, it's a
very basic site, beautiful but
very basic, with water taps and an Elsan disposal point but no toilets - you need to be self-sufficient in that department. For day-visitors there's the Cannock Chase Visitor Centre at WS12 4PW and Birches Valley Forest Centre at WS15 2UQ, both reasonably close with appropriate facilities
Some photos from previous meetings so you know what you're letting yourselves in for

For those of you thinking of taking bikes, there are details of the various leisure trails here -
http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/leisure-cycling/
and cross-country trails here -
http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/xc/
and downhill trails here -

and trail maps here -

Muz Jr recommends against the Monkey Trail unless you really know what you're doing but the various trails are marked out with coloured way-markers along the routes so they're easy enough to follow

Yes, no problem. No need to book, just turn up and pay the rangers when they do their rounds.
