Hi All, Can you isolate one of the starter batteries and just use one?

What are you trying to achieve?
but yes you can always disconnect the -ve terminal, assuming you have a dual starter battery setup.

But make sure you tape up the live cable you take off as it will be live from the other batt

I'd leave the positive connected for that reason.
Unless you're removing the battery, then tape up securely as suggested.
