Bit miffed today, thought i had a slow puncture but turned out i had a crack on the inner rim on one of my allows, Question being Has anyone had one repaired as doing a spot of googling there are mixed opinions with some saying bin it, then i see specialist shops saying they can be fixed but at what price ie safety wise, i have gone the safety route purchasing a new set of alloys, but obviously a tad upset having to splash out on a full set. All because one bloody wheel is cracked

If you own a BMW with run flats and 19" rims this would be a 'common' occurence for you! (I luckily don't). BMW rims are notorious for cracking etc and dependent on magnitude and location of damage alloys can be professionally repaired. Have a look on Google for a place near you for a quote, the place I got my alloys refurbed also repaired alloys I had a look and could not believe the repair, you would never know.
Are the alloys that cracked OE fitted to a Bongo models or are they aftermarket (RX8's?) out of interest?

Yeah on my bongo but not R8s, had them about 4 years bought as refurbed, so could have been covered up then, a bit annoying as could happen again and how often do you just bin them and get another set

did they have the correct load rating for the bongo, many people fit mazda car alloys, they physically fit, but they are too light for the job.

I'm not cerain that the load rating for the tyres is the same thing as the rims being strong enough.
Just a thought.
