Do all Bongos/Fredas have spoilers?

Hi all,
We took ownership of our lovely Freda on Saturday and this is gonna be the first of many stupid questions from us over the next few weeks/months.
As the title says... Do all Bongos/Fredas have a spoiler? There is no spoiler on our van at present but we were given one when we bought it. Someone has done a horrific white paint job on it and I guessed it had been removed for that but we can't seem to find any holes to reattach. Are we being really dumb?
Thanks in advance.
Rebecca

Not all have spoilers.
I have just replaced the tailgate on mines, my original had a spoiler but the replacement hasn't & there are no holes pre made. I probably wont bother re fitting the spoiler to my new tailgate as I have a fiamma bike rack which needs the spoiler to be butchered anyway.

Ah okay, so is it possible to fit a spoiler to a non spoiler bongo?

Yup use the new spoiler and make a template for the pin and bolt holes then use that to mark up the van and drill, you may not however have the loom for the high-level brake light.

Sounds like a plan. Any thoughts on who might do a loom for the light? Isn't it a requirement for the MOT that if it is there it should be working?

You do know the extra down force from the spoiler will make it more difficult to drift

To drift? Care to elaborate?

Hoping you mean "Tokyo Drift" stylee. I am scared at the minute of taking corners too sharp in case it falls over, lol. Bit of a step up from my 1.2 Corsa.

My replacement tailgate has the centre brake light wiring present despite not having a spoiler. Even if yours doesn't It is not hard to run a wire up from the O/S lamp cluster through the tailgate harness, there are a couple of earth points in the tailgate you can use for a negative.
