Replacement wheels suggestions

Have a 2005 2.0 petrol 8 seater

It came with some naff JDM rims which have old tyres on, time to renew the tyres really

I thought I’d start looking for some OEM Mazda rims, as I like the standard look

Ideally I’d like the size tyre

205 55 16

As a couple of my cars have that size so handy for chopping and changing

What models of Mazdas have suitable wheels for me to hunt for

Am I right in thinking Hyundai and Kia’s are a good swap, lots of venga and ceed rims online

Any thoughts welcome

Bear in mind Bongos are heavy beasts.

Most car rims aren't up to it.

Hmm I was thinking that

Most bingo wheels I see for sale are naff. Perhaps a nice set of plain steels might be suitable

Hi.
Personally I'd go for 17" as this gives some good tyre choices - 225 50 R17 for the same rolling circumference as stock or 225 55 R17 for a little bigger which is what we have. I'd also go for strong wheels - say 750kg given all the potholes

BongoSpares sell refurbed OE alloys which are very reasonable for the money.

I've got 19" Mazda CX7 wheels fitted. 235/50/19 tyres on rear 135/45 on front. drives great!
