Not sure if this is the right place to put this but we all have that dulling, fogging, fading problem with headlights and I tried searching YouTube to find out how to polish them and couldn't find anything Bongo related so I made a video if anyone needs to know how easy it is, it only takes 5 min and they look like new

Link to the video is here - https://youtu.be/vOnEsBk3G1M

Yep, very nice job, and a neat kit.

I've tried elbow grease with most of the other ideas and I'll be getting one of these.

Thanks. 8)

That's a huge improvement. Nice Job!

I had good results using Sylvania restoration kit.

I did read on a caravan forum that you need to be ccareful about what type of compound you use to polish up plastic lenses or in that case plastic windows. Some compunds contain a solvent that will cause fine crazing in the plastic itself after a time.
On my Smart car the rear side windows are plastic and some time ago I used a compound to polish this back, that area is now badly crazed. I cannot be sure but I believe it may have Farecla as that was the general standby in the workshop.
Now I use a fine grade wet or dry to polish and then buff up without compound just keep it wet to avoid scorching the plastic.

I use Turtle Wax Headlight cleaner and sealant, to keep plastic headlights in tip top condition around £5

I recently tackled this job, used autoglym kit to do it, easy to do and great results. Probably can be done cheaper of course but first time was useful to have everything I needed all together

I bought a kit and did ours (one side only as the other side has always been ok - perhaps a replaced light unit?)

It was absolutely fantastic and was sealed with a UV sealant etc, however after a few months it starts to dull again. Nothing major and it wasn't mentioned on the MOT but now when looking from the from I can tell the difference. I don't think I'd be bothered if they were both the same!
