Never have seen / heard what paint colour it is and it almost seems more like a pigmented gel coat than a paint. People seem to have redone it successfully using everything from ordinary vehicle spray paint to ( from memory) rolled on Rustoleum

Hi , did you manage to find the correct colour only I'm also in the same boat as of this afternoon. I've tried to remove the decals as I have been bought some new ones. I tried everything that is stated in other postings and eventually resorted to the toffee wheel which just went straight through the gel coat revealing white spots in various places. any help as always gratefully accepted

The colour is within the gel coat and not paint as such.

The easiest solution is to take the van to a paint supplier and ask them to run their scanner over a section of clean colour, they should then be able to make up paint to the exact colour. The nearest to me is Martin Brown Paints in Blackpool if anyone lives nearby.

Thanks for that, I may have found a solution a vinyl sign maker near me can do me a strip of any block colour I choose to go along the side of the AFT to cover the scars. I'll let you know how that goes.
