Bongo Fury

I have been tidying up the leisure wiring on the Wasp during lockdown and found lots of iffy connections and unfused circuits so I thought maybe a simple rewire would be best.
I have used the orignal charger that was in the van. I have the charger output running to a the P & N terminals of a fused distribution box and from there to the L battery. Should I run a seperate wire directly from the charger to the LB and another back from the LB to the fuse box or is that OK?

Provided the wiring is of an adequate size than generally its not a problem, might be best to check what voltage your getting at the battery when there is no other load switched on other than the charger itself, provided your exceeding 13.8 volts at the battery then it will be putting in a float charge if the battery voltage falls then the charger will provide more current as required.

I have the charger mounted behind the sliding door step cover and LB is under bonnet what size cable should I be running for that distance?

Well what current is the charger rated for ? Choose a gauge that isn't going to drop more than 0.3-0.4 volts along the length of that cable see this page and its calculator https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/cable-si ... ction.html
