I'm looking into importing a Bongo I've seen from Japan. I'm doing alot of research at the moment and treading carefully

I'm a bit confused about import duty, when is this paid/collected? will it be at the docks, are there any further taxes due. I know to get it registered I need to get it tested. is this when I will get a letter from HMRC asking me to cough up?

If you decide to use an agent please be careful. Some good, some not so good.

If using an agent Bristol based Algy's won't rip you off.

Oh yes, all the DVLA ones and the internal ones in the forum have changed
