Bongo Fury

I seem to remember I read somewhere a certain headlight could be used, a Seat I think, to do the minimal alteration to the grill, to be able to re-register our Bongo in Spain as no headlights were ever made to be able to drive permanently on the Continent. Using temporary deflectors are not acceptable in Spain. Can anyone shed any light on which model of Seat or any alternative that you may have used?

Let us know how you get on with Spanish registration, please, it's come up before so any info will be a great help.

I think there was also another thread either here or on FB, which came to the conclusion that getting clearance in number of countries was now impossible due to the sliding door being on the wrong side, France never allowed it and other EU countries are now also taking the same line.

In case anyone else comes across this RE Spain imports… everything is a lot easier if you’re doing it as part of a change of residency.. lots of things don’t need legalising or to be homologado. Still do need to sort the headlights though which is what I’m doing now haha
