Shakespeare and Sprouts

Two things school put me off for many years, but which I now quite enjoy.

Anyone else have such experiences?

Semolina, loathed it at school, but now rather like it, but a totally different texture to what was from the school days!

Wasn't it tapioca that was frogspawn, semolina is more like readimix concrete :D

I found most school meals ok but boiled cabbage and their sliced beef (from our old friend the elastic cow) you had to fold about 15 times to make it stay on the fork were a particularly bad memory.

Tapioca. Now thats REAL frog spawn :shock: :lol: Have to admit I loved it though, along with lumpy semolina. And lots of jam of course :wink:

That'll have been shoe leather Muz, boiled down for max softness :wink: :lol:
