Auto Transmission Pipes Replacement

Hi, advice needed please before the van accidentally goes on fire. I'm replacing the auto transmission pipes and have managed to disconnect the hoses and the 4 clamps holding them to the chassis but can't see how they come out.
With the shape of them I think they're the 1st thing attached to the van when it's being assembled.
No matter how much pushing pulling forcing I can't see which way they come out.
Has anyone changed them and what's the secret to getting them out and probably the other secret of feeding the new ones in without damaging them?? Much thanks, ps it's for a diesel van.
pps. Before you get anything undersealed make sure everything that needs replacing is. That stuff makes the job even more worse than it already is.
