Southern Softies @ Wallingford April 2023

We are delighted to return to Bridge Villa at Crowmarsh Gifford, over the bridge from Wallingford in the Thames Valley, for the first club meeting of 2023. It starts on Thursday 13th April and finishes on Sunday 16th. You must book a minimum of 2 nights and we have 30 pitches all with EHU.

Due to the ongoing energy crisis we will not know the overnight rates until late January.

Booking is by telephone only commencing 0930 on Thursday 16th February. This must be done via the Bongo Fury office on 0114-2550836. We will need your membership number and vehicle registration.

Full payment is required in advance. Refunds can only be given if a replacement can be found.

If we sell our initial allocation we will start a waiting list. Once 5 are on the waiting list we will approach the campsite to see if there are any spare places.

Pitch fees for this event have now veen set at a very reasonable £24 per night including EHU.

And I'm in for this one as well The market in town is rather nice and plenty of choice for snacks and evening meal ingredients!

A quick update on this meeting. We sold all 30 pitches within 90 minutes when bookings commenced yesterday. We have now started a waiting list and have approcahed the campsite for some more slots.

I am new to Bongonauts and really would like to go to the southern softies meeting with my girlfriend baby and 5 year old.
I says you have sold out!
Can you put me on the waiting list as this camp maybe the only camp we can meet this year.

I managed to secure 10 more pitches, and have 12 on the waiting list. The first 10 on the waiting list have all been contacted. I'll see if there's any more demand and will contact the site again for more pitches on Thursday, I don't see that it will be a problem.

I got the last 5 pitches left on the campsite, so there is nobody left on the waiting list. You are quite welcome to go on the new waiting list but you will only be able to attend if someone cancels.
