If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Fortnight in Ireland coming up

Post by silverdreammachine » Thu Mar 02, 2023 4:44 pm

I'm a year into life with a Bongo and it has made me happier than I ever thought it could. Apart from the odd issue, which have all been easily solved (Alan and Roger at Fairview Garage in Cheltenham are genuinely the kindest and most honest pair I've come across and they don't rest till they've got to the root of whatever it is), it's been a blast. And Bongo Spares have been brilliant. I'm now braving a fortnight away in Ireland, doing the Wild Atlantic Way down as far as Co.Clare. I won't bore you all with my itinerary but will post some pics when I get back (there's a little glimpse of Suffolk in the attached), and if anyone's down the west coast in April, let me know!

Bongo are brilliant for the WAW, ideal size for some of the small country roads. Have a route planned? I find it better to travel north, as this means you are on the sea side of the road for views as you drive.

Tomorrow is the day.

ever after - get on the case!!

Musorewa...what is even the point of me going now...I've explored the whole thing through your eyes! Completely amazing and inspiring journey log.

Alkers - I'm going up and over, so keeping it all on the driver's side as I go. Hadn't planned it that way, though, so really glad you've made me realise!

Bob - it's going to be craic-tastic!

Going to examine Musorewa's post for the umpteenth time now to check I haven't left anywhere out...
