Mystery wire under centre console

Post by Greenmachine96 » Sun Oct 29, 2023 9:47 am

Any idea what wire connected here? A section of it was attached but tore off. Wasn't going anywhere. Looks nasty here generally. Any idea what can cause this?

Not quite sure where we are looking but any chassis connection will be a Black wire, but I can't quite work out the context around the image!

Apologies! Camera was in close up mode. Contextual pic attached.

Ah you may have had a console with the TV and DVD player in the rear, in which case it would have been the chassis connection in addition to a hefty loom running from the controls (accessed from the rear) running back down to the front of the vehicle. Whatever there isn't a standard vehicle connection at that point it will only have been some optional add on.

Thanks! As long as there's nothing that's supposed to be there.
