I once had this problem in fact the brake on a chevy got so hot the grease melted and smoke came from the wheel . Panic!! thought it was the bearing but it was the flexible hose breaking up inside and acting as a one way valve and holding the brake pads on!! easily solved. Might be worth just keeping in the back of your mind? Always have somehting to worry about

 Thanks gents,Turned out, one of the pistons was rusty, and knackered looking ,pulled back seal and put in brake fluid, worked in and out a few times.now freeing off allright.and working.I can now spend hours on the M5 this xmas worrying about the piston seals.Cheers AW.PS got the advise from Alans vehicle services.

I had that trouble with my old Skoda and did the same trick with the brake fluid but eventually it dries out and you have to do it again.... and again. Keep an eye on it and if it does happen again I would bite the bullet and get the brake assembly re-furbished with new seals fitted.
