Well had an unfortunate kerbing of passenger front tyre, not sure what I hit, it was dark, suspect a large loose stone

. It gouged the tyre wall, so had to replace the 12 week old Michelin. I also replaced the back tyres at the same time (they were very cheap Slovakian tyres) All Michelin reinforced tyres now fitted, the bongo drives so much better. Forget budget tyres, get the best you can afford, safety comes before economy

Couldn't agree more Peter....my fist set of tyres lasted 10 months (25,000km) of brit & european driving. Worn down to the wire literally...and producing lots of wheel wobble/vibration.
Replaced them with Continental vancos all round..pricy but after another 20,000km very little sign of wear and best of all no vibration.
Weh heh

Nah use horses as feed for the dragons, lucky we have tons of stray mountain ponies.
