Same fuse timmy.......sounds like a wire fault. take my advice and have the wire to the back replaced with a heavier gauge one - the original is too fine IMHO.

thanks Dandy, when i have more time i will follow this up. i know it's a small thing and easily replaced with an extension from the front socket but i dont want the extra wire really. i ran several things like a small cooler and power pack from the rear when it worked.

BTW how do you find the TDM? I have owned several big trailie bikes currently ride a transalp. but miss the extra grunt. i'm eyeing the comfy Yam up.

Would definitely second the tip about upgrading the wire.
The thin existing wire could have been overloaded, perhaps the reason for the failure.

What language are you speaking?!!!

Timmy.......
Aprilia Caponord is what you want mate.....no one understands them so cheap as chips second hand.....Aprilia's stonkin V-twin engine and all day comfort and ridden well will give ANY sportsbike a run for its money.....went to Ambert in central France on mine with some like minded individuals.....got off it after 1500 miles like i'd just been down the shops.....go on you know it makes sense!

Tdm's great and very underated, on to my 3rd one now after a Transflap - the 'Prilia's good too, I tried one but plumped for a TTS tooned TDM900 :D
Did a 5000 mile eurotrip last summer - no problems and no numb bum.................
