Bongo Fury

how come its so quiet in the west forum! i see loads of bongo's on my daily travels so where is everyone !!!!!!!!
saying that, even though i see loads no one seems to acknowledge, maybe we're just a bunch of ignorant b*st&rds in the west !

I'm in the West and I'm not an ignorant one of those ...
If I saw you I'd wave HONEST ! but we are a few miles away in Westbury so we may never spot each other...

We are also in Bristol and regularly see other Bongos, we wave, but they dont even notice us!

What colour is yours, and where abouts in Bristol?

We have a white AFT (still with the stickers on one side - I'll get rid of the rest if I can get the time and decent weather!) - located in Southville.

i got a white AFT stickers coming off in the spring ! i bought some tribal vinyls to go down the sides I usually float around the kingswood side of town but get over to whitchurch area a lot.

Good luck with the sticker removal - took a lot of trial and effort to remove them from one side of ours!
Living on a one way street has made getting rid of the other side slightly more tricky!
Hopefully with good weather this weekend, we'll drive up to the inlaws and tackle the rest!

I drove from Salisbury to North Devon & back on Sunday & saw 15 in total, several of them more than once. Loads down in Braunton/Barnstaple - very much the "new" VW when it comes to the surf dudes.

On our days out we mainly drive to Stover (Trago Mills) and around there so we will keep an eye out. We often see a silver Bongo parked up in Dawlish.
