cold starting

I just read all the comments on cold starting- which also gives me some trouble. I thought that I might try using some easy-start additive - as I used to do, very effectively, when I had a Merc. However, I need to find the engine air inlet and so now comes my stupid question. Where is it?
Do you other guys think this is a good idea?

Use easystart by all means lorne - but at the risk of knocking hell out of the pistons and big ends - best to sort out the cause of the problem IMHO

I agree with what Dandy said.
Easy-Start is more useful in petrol engines which have a lot lower compression ratio. Check your glow plugs and bung some injector cleaner in your tank.
