white smoke
Not a penny, it is still under the 3 months warranty from the dealer. Who was extremely helpful in sorting the problem, though they can't sort the rear door central locking or not locking as it is. It locks via the key, but not remotely. He can't get a signal/voltage reading at the tail gate connectors.

Cracked head (like yours was) on a Bongo seems to happen from an overheating episode, nearly always connectted with a problem in the cooling system. Old pin-pricked rad hoses, sludge blocked rads. etc. are the usual causing (oh and poor bleeding after refill - they have to be carefully bled to avoid airlocks). This is why we suggest you check it wasnt a colling system problem that caused the head problem.
Good luck
