funny turn

hi all my bongo just had a funny turn as i turned a left hand corner on a hill water going accross the road the left had back wheel just spun until i got round the corner thought nothing of it as this happen to us all but here is the funny bit

still driving at 20mph with the bongo still in drive the engine starts reving and sits on the limiter with no gain in speed took my foot off the throtal and back on again still the same repeated and found drive again

has this happened to anyone else or dose anyone have any ideas to this

Sounds like it could be the diff, or the torque converter in the gearbox... It sounds like a garage job either way i,m afraid... :cry:

Yes sounds like it to me get a good mechanic to check it out ASAP just to be on the safe side. Let us all know the outcome please.

Before you start shelling out daft money, it's worth changing the oil in front and rear diffs and your ATF just to exclude these as causes. All necessary instructions are on the forum. It made a world of difference to the way mine drives.
