V6 Fuel Filter - Replacing

Post by garybongo » Tue Jul 13, 2010 3:32 pm

Hello,

I 'd like to change the fuel filter on my V6 Bongo. Can anyone describe how to do this or direct me to some docs please? Starting with where the thing is!

Most appreciated, driving to Slovenia next week..!

Thanks

Here is the diagram;

Its the 13-470 part

I've always assumed it was the cannister under the passenger seat here;

but I'm not so sure now it looks a bit different !

nope not that, fuel filter is located from underneath just behind the drivers seat on a V6

just infront of the tank underneath driverside, pain in the a##e when your lying on your back, get the van of the floor if ya can, do it on a empty tank and have a couple pairs of molegrips to clamp the pipes both sides, cheapest place for fuel filter i found was bongo bits plymouth £10.00 if i remember
