I was doing just that earlier this evening  Wecome to the forum :D Bob was very impressed with the attention to detail & the fact you guys spent most of the day getting it to fit perfectly  , have you got a price sorted out inc p&p for a 100Amp replacement alternator?
He also told me you'd taken over the business & the telephone number had changed to 01579382391. if you put your website link in your signature people will be able to find you, click on the user control panel top right of the screen.
Bob told me all about you today

I will update my signature with all the relevant details in the morning when Iam a bit more awake

I will have the full price including P & P in the morning as well. I am working on it at the moment. I need it to be as sensibly priced as possible. I am not in business to rip anyone off, all I want is for everyone to get the same service that Bob has had so far. We didn't mind spending a bit of time on Bobs unit, after all he did make the tea =D>

Thanks
Mike

Been in touch with Mike at Albaston Starters & Alternators (ASARotating), after a lot of R&D with Bob (Freewheeler) He can supply a brand new 100 amp alternator (Nissan I believe, not chinese copy cr@p) that has been modifed with CNC made bushes fitted & new bottom pivot bolt supplied, to fit the diesel bongo for £175 delivered AND a 2 year guarantee 8)
That's got to be better than an 80 amp unit being sold as a 90 amp unit  .
They can also refurb a standard Mazda/Hitatchi unit for @£55 (depending on what's wrong with it) plus postage both ways (@ £15 each way).
They are based at
Unit 3,
Florence Road Industrial Estate,
Kellybray,
Callington.
PL1786X.
Tel no - 01579382391.
http://asarotatingelectrical.co.uk/default.aspx (website being updated soon apparantly as he's recently taken the business over)
They can also supply parts to refurb (or refurb for you) the standard starter motor & if anyone in the area with a duff winterpack starter wants to pop in, they may be able to help there too, same goes for the V6 & 2litre starters & alternators. I have no affiliation with & am making nothing from this, just trying to help people source decent parts.

Please feel free to pop in or call at anytime for a chat. In my world its not all about business. Its about helping people without having to rip anyone off.
