blind switch & sonar switch lamp replacement

Post by s.w.blackwell » Wed Dec 05, 2007 11:29 pm

Hi all

I know that a previous post has covered fitting new bulbs (available from maplin) to the switches but i was asked when i done mine if LEDs could be used instead.

So today i fitted 12v 3mm Leds (also from maplin)to my switches and they work ok (a ickle bit dimmer but ok in my opinion)

With this in mind any one wanting blue or red switches could be able to put red or blue leds in.

few pics if your interested

SONAR stands for: SOund Navigation And Ranging.

It is the method used for most parking sensors.
