I've just fitted one under the passenger seat. I had to fab a bracket which used existing m6 bolt holes on the chassis. I did earthed this rogue wire and also added a new earth wire on the other side. I try a continuity ( if thats the right word and spelling) test on the earths they might have a break in them. Thanks for all the help im learning every day

thanks all for your help . Status update
removed the loom today and checked all plugs wires etc. the earth wire looked a bit ropey so I followed it back up the loom and replace also added a new earth on the other end. fitted the loom back and started checking. I have a live at the switch, a live at ...

Nope no clicking. Like I was saying the whole system seems to be dead as if there is a fuse missing. In the fuse box under the bonnet there are two big square fuses/ relays both are missing ?although left one has no cable to it could be the culprit

nope still cant get the bloody things to work. There seems to be no live anywhere as if there is a fuse missing.the wiring diagram only shows the main 100 amp fuse and a 15amp under the bonnet in the middle.lights do work as I have tested them on another battery. What am I missing ? This has begun ...

Hi Geoff silly question...... the one wire i have from the loom which is black and only on the passenger side does it mater what wire i connect it to in the earth block. pretty sure i know the answer but just checking im no electrician just a humble tin basher

Hi Geoff are you saying that both sides should have an earth going to these points? there was only 1 thin black wire on the loom which didnt seem to go anywhere. I will have to get underneath and have a look

we had the same conversion. one thing i hate is the position of the fridge on the far side under the bed. not a good look in the mornings when the side door is open and im pot holing to get the milk in my underpants . mine didnt work either. i took out the sunken part next to the speaker to se if wires had fallen off extra to find NOTHING maybe you have no speaker too
