Re: Alternatives to PMS for charging leisure battery.
Agreed… I’m in the process of tracking such a thing down. However… with labour charges what they are, I think the cost of repair v new charger will be pretty similar. There’s always the chance that the fault is less serious than thought…

Alternatives to PMS for charging leisure battery.
My PMS3 Managment System is faulty and does not charge the leisure battery (confirmed by mechanic). Replacement would be expensive. Otherwise PMS works OK. Presumably I could permanently connect the 240V supply to a small ('smart'?) trickle charger so the LB is charged whenever the van is hooked up ...

Re: N.Lincs Undersealing.?
Thanks Mick - very useful.
Dore don't do undersealing anymore. I've come across conflicting opinion/advice summarised (not surprisingly) that if it is done badly (not cleaning properly before sealing etc.) it can more harm than good. If I decide to do it I'd probably go to Rustbuster based on your ...

Re: N.Lincs Undersealing.?
Hi from Brigg,
Sorry, can't answer your question but please post if you find someone local. I'm off to Dore Service Station, Sheffield on Wednesday and intend to get some info from them.

Re: Tent roof rails pulling out of AFT
Excuse my rather late entry to this discussion... I recently had this problem and solved it using thin plastic cable ties instead of screws/glue. Much cleaner and quicker. Most things in life can be solved with plastic cable ties.

Midge-proof netting
Does anyone know if the netting on a Bongo tent is midge-proof? We are planning a Scotland (west) trip soon and I am wondering whether the canvas can be safely opened up in hot weather (wishful thinking). Perhaps a DIY midge-netting tent could be made to drop over the top allowing the tent to be ...

Installation-headlight bulbs
A simple question... one I didn't think I'd have to ask. How do you replace a headlight bulb of the sort pictured? It's not a conventional (older?) 3 metal pin + clip arrangement but a 3-pronged plastic mount.
I've pulled, twisted, squeezed, wiggled...
Suggestions welcome. Before I sledgehammer ...

Re: Parking sensors
Thanks for the advice - I'm gradually narrowing the search down, poss looking at a Pioneer unit as they make reasonably priced compatible cameras. The wiring aspect doesn't seem too complex. There is a lack of videos showing various cameras/parking systems in use although they seem to use the same ...

Parking sensors
Hello everyone. I'm sorting out our recently purchased Bongo and will soon be looking at head units (possibly Sony/Pioneer Apple CarPlay). I need reversing sensors that can be used with the unit (rather than need a separate display). Good visual guidance is essential (my partner is deaf). Most ...
