Set to H. Changed to M.
No joy.
A bracing cup of strong tea & I'll sally forth with the cutters.

Re: Waeco MS50 Cruise Control Not Working
Thanks Simon
We used your fitting instructions... So think it was set to M. I'll check.
We also took it out with the wiring diverted to a meter reader, don't ask me what it read, I was driving. My fitter was happy there was sufficient pulse going through & that it increased with acceleration ...

Waeco MS50 Cruise Control Not Working
Hi folks. Quick query having searched the forums unsuccessfully.
Had this fitted by a local auto electrics specialist without incident, cursing or recriminations even though he's never seen one before.
Everything works as it should in test mode although the revs pick up very, very slowly.

Re: Ordered a Waeco 50 Cruise Control
a former Herald & Spitfire owner drooling over your GT6!
What's a tall fellow like you doing with a Spitfire?
If you are still on your nightly prowls of Falmouth at 6.30/7am ish you will probably be able to hear the GT6 as hubby shatters the silence on his way to or from work

Re: Ordered a Waeco 50 Cruise Control
My work entails nightly potters around Falmouth
Just realised - you might just be one of those ne'er do well Bongo thieves. Aw 'ang. Given the game away now! Now you know where to find all of them! #-o
My evil plan for total Bongo domination comes closer to fruition (demonic cackle). :twisted ...

Re: Ordered a Waeco 50 Cruise Control
It'll make sense once you have the instructions and Simon's notes. I'm your way in August if you can wait that long.
Your offer much appreciated. I'm hoping to get it done before then as I have a few runs planned already but if I decide to have a go at doing it myself & lash it up I'll be plying ...

Re: Ordered a Waeco 50 Cruise Control
Very easy fit, and a geat mod. I fitted one, with help from Simon's Fact Sheet.
A couple of tips: the Bongo wires are very thin, so Scotchlocks don't always make contact with the conductor, even though they have locked on to the insulated bit of the cable.
There are 2 Blue/White wires behind the ...
