If removing the spigot rings opened the bore to more than 60.1, they probably weren't genuine MR2 wheels :?
I didn't think about that before posting, only that the guy I got them off said they came off his MR2. Sorry peeps
The spigot rings that were in there were made of aluminium. I ...

Re: Mr 2alloys
I have some OZ MR2 wheels on mine. When I got them I realised the centre bore was too small but on closer inspection I found they had been fitted with spigot rings that were too small. After knocking those out I bought some correct ones from ebay and bob's your uncle.

That sounds good. You won't even have to get your own hands dirty. Replacing hoses and the stat is great for peace of mind.

Re: Where to source a radiator?
I got an aftermarket rad from the bongo shop and it made my Bongo run loads hotter. Put the Mazda genuine rad on and the gauge never goes above 12 o'clock. IMHO the genuine one is well worth the peace of mind.

I paid £259 for a genuine one from Magna Mazda in Southampton. Order before 11 am and they get it in next day.

Re: New Dab Radio
Check out http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/. The best advice I can give is to get a decent antenna. I've tried the various glass mount jobs and the reception is rubbish. I've got one of the mag mounts now and it's brilliant.

Maybe it's just the way those rads flow then. It sounds like I'm worrying over nothing.
Thanks very much.

New Radiator and hoses....
Hello everyone, I'm after some more advice/reassurance please.
I recently had a leak from my radiator so I purchased a new one from the Bongo shop. It was a pattern part as the Mazda ones were out of stock. I also bought a new water pump for belt and braces. I fitted both and bled the system ...

Thanks for the replies. I'll answer each one in turn.
Sort of sounds like the evaporator (61-J10) is freezing up, I wonder if its partially blocked with crud, that gets wet when cooled down and then freezes cutting of the cold air flow, then warms up again and all works for a while ? http ...

Hi all,
I hope someone can help. I know the heater blower/resistor queries have been done to death but I have a slightly stranger issue. When driving with the aircon on I can select all fan speeds no problem and have a very healthy air flow from all vents for about 10-15 mins, then I get what looks ...

Re: Driving in Germany
Be really careful coming to towns and villages. There are no speed limit signs as such, the 50 kmh limit starts when you see a yellow diamond shape sign and ends with another when you leave that town or villages borders. I think the signs refer to the standard limits for built up and non-built up ...
