help with hold light sequence

Hi gang

Our hold light is flashing and the speedo has stopped.

The sequence doesn't seem to make sense

9 fast 1 slow 6 fast 7 fast pause and repeat

any ideas, my wife is commuting in it today so im a bit worried

You've got a chipped speedo yes (reads in mph and records miles not kilometers)? Try switching off then restart the engine to see if it clears it. It's a common occurrence unfortunately.

Start looking for a speedo from a 626 as once the chip starts playing up it becomes a pain -when iI had my chipped speedo in it only started to read above 20 mph and an occasional hold light flicker - since I put a 626 speedo in everythings perfect.
