Electric sunroof
My sunroof on my 2wd non pop top bongo has not managed to close itself. Any tips for getting it closed? Could it be fuse? wiring? motor?

I noticed the motors sowing the other day, having realised over the year since purchase that the sunroof closes in stages, that it seemed a tad slower than normal. I even mentioned to a mate jokingly about it getting stuck, then low and behold on Sunday the darn thing woudn't close the last two inches. Fortunately its dry at the moment, but the weather is predicted to get wild towards the weekend...and I'm stuck with a ajar sunroof. Another mate did suggest lubricating the sliders on the side...

I know this might sound obvious... what condition is your battery in? Some vehicles come with the original battery, which become tired after several years. My friend replaced his recently giving his electrical components a new lease of life.

I had a look this morning, determined to miss the rain and is ingress through the sunroof. I took the front end of the sunroof's panel off...or at least undid where the rear air vents are above you're head. Under there in a void is the motor. All connections were made, but didn't test for power. Then i tried to understand what the motor there was doing and eventually got an Allen key and wound in the sunroof manually. Worked a treat to avoid the rain. many thanks for the diagam, as now, having looked under the panels i understand the diagram, as opposed to vice versa. I am sure i could now order a relevant part from the pats numbers...But at least it appears water will not come in...i'll let you know!
