I'm quite partial to a spot of button pressing myself whilst going down ,hills.

I often "short shift" using the hold button rather than have the engine revving high under acceleration.
Also use it down long descents to save the brakes.

Sounds like I've not been a bad boy for holding it then - just too convenient and brake saving not to use I reckon

Don't worry about it lizard - even if you accidently knock it at high speed it's intelligent enough not to change down and overrev the engine...........
