Can anyone tell me if our Bongo (2.5TD 4x4 Auto N Reg) should have a fuel lift pump that moves the fuel from the tank to the filter, injection pump etc?

There is also a return pipe from the pump to tank for any excess fuel (it pumps more than it needs)
