Polstead Touring park, Essex - 7/8th November

Post by francophile1947 » Fri Oct 10, 2008 7:19 pm

Andrew and I have booked for the two nights above at http://www.polsteadtouring.com/id2.html - apparently there was a club meet there a couple of years, or so, ago.
It would be good if others could join us - the number to ring is 01787 211969. Pitches are hard standing and it's £16.50 per night, including hook-up - no charge for awnings or dogs . Please note that is an adult only site.

I guess we were really lucky, because the weather was a lot better than on the forecast and all the rotten weather was when we were in the awning or pub :D :D Absolutely fantastic (and huge!) steak and ale pie at the pub on Friday, but they weren't doing normal food on Saturday, because of fireworks and a hog roast, so we availed ourselves of the fish and chip delivery service :
Guess which plonker forgot his camera AGAIN #-o but Ginge took some nice photos, which should appear in due course 8)
