Day Meet Sunday 25th January

OK you lot...time to blow away the cobwebs.

As no one else will take the plunge...here goes:

Rabbie Burns night and I'm going to a party...but why not party during the day?

The meet will be within 15 minutes drive of Junction 35 on the M6 somewhere near Carnforth. Venue to be confirmed....watch this space.

Bring Haggis's tatties Neeps, Oatcakes, shortbread etc for a lunchtime jacobs join.
Dress apprpriatly please.
A drop or two of Scotch wouldn't go amiss.

We'll either be indoors or the marquee will be up...bring your gas stoves.

OK folk..here are the full details of our day meet.

Sunday 25th January from 10.00am
at Lakeland Wildlife Oasis on the A6 3 miles north of Junction 35 on the M6

There will be a car park charge of £2 per van, refundable if you wish to go into the zoo.
A 'HANDS ON TOUR WITH A KEEPER AT 1.30PM CAN BE ARRANGED IF WE HAVE ENOUGH PEEPS!

The car park is around the back of the building.

The marquee will be up to provide some shelter if the weather is dodgy.

It's Burns Night so we are having a Rabbie Burns lunch.

'Scottish' theme Jacobs Join lunch in the Marquee from 12.00 noon.

Haggis, Tatties & Neeps, Shortbread, Oatcakes, Cullen Skink and Scotch broth suggested.

Prizes for the best Scottish themed fancy dress.

Booking not essential but I would appreciate an indication of who is likely to turn up so that we can reserve the parking spaces. If you can't commit before the day then just turn up anyway.

Pass the word around and make this a typical North West fun day out.
