I mean no CENTRAL locking, the key in the drivers door only locks the drivers door, when I get time I will have a look in the door and see if it is supposed to be CENTRAL locking. whats the proceedure for taking the door panel off?. Colin

Hi Newbie, either you have the only bongo on the forum that doesn't have central locking...or summat has bust... Bet you a pot noodle a relay has popped.

looks like the door panel will have to come off
As BDC said, the first place to look is at the wires between the door and body.
The relay for the locking for the rest of the doors is behind the glove box.
i've checked the wires between the door and body and they look ok, also took out the glove box but cant see the relay :( anyone know what it looks like?
thanks

I'm not aware of any that don't have any of the highlighted elements

Not seen one without a rear wiper either.

I've seen only 2 without central locking, rear air con, rear heating and rear seat belts. Strange what they list as optional.

Left the factory like that?

I have checked out a couple of "base model" bongo's...You know the type doone, unpainted bumpers, vinyl seats, manually adjusted mirrors etc (not just manual folding, manual adjustment too!) But i'm sure they had central locking fitted, unless of course it was an aftermarket kit?

And the dash all one colour... Definitely no central locking and no wires on the lock for it, so factory standard.

Even that isn't base model according to Doones list of optionals

"Safety Features
Airbag Driver
Interior/Comfort
Air Conditioning, Climate Control, Central Locking, Electric Windows, Power Steering, Sunroof, Tilt Steering Wheel"

& it has a rear wiper
