santa pod FIA main event Friday 22nd - Monday 25th May

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Only 2 days to go :D :D

Who is going and what are everyone's plans for travelling?

Forecast looks good on Metcheck for most of the
weekend.

Don't forget your tickets  and ask for a vehicle pass for the Family camping area when you get to the main gate.
Hopefully Mr and Mrs BBQ (Bongo-Louis) will be there but I will bring a fire basket as well. So if you see any spare pallets on the side of the motorway stop and pick them up . Otherwise we may have to start burning bits of Di and Jamie's caravan.

Not sure yet but I may be going Thursday after work. If that happens I will try to reserve some space near to Alan.

There will be no caravans getting burnt this weekend Mr Snowkiter [-X [-X [-X I will make sure we bring plenty of wood. We are hoping to set off around 7am  on friday. So that means 8am  Please please will you save us a space for the eriba and bongo with pull out awning? Is it worth me bringing the gazebo? I think it has 2 sides to it.

Good idea. I was looking at buying one from Asda. Think they are £15 now.

OK I'll bring it. It's not had an outing since Silverdale so I reckon it'll stink of smoke and be a bit muddy round the bottom. Perfect then eh?

Probably too late to book online, you'll have to pay on the gate.

  Hide as many people as you can in the back of the Bongo to reduce your gate-fee and thereby increase your beer allowance

you can pay on the gate, or book by phone and collect your tickets on the gate which will be slightly cheaper

Will call them tomorrow. Might have some friends coming too. So if i book for the Friday and Saturday, that means that i can camp on the Saturday night and still see some racing on Sunday????
I gotta get off on the Sunday afternoon as i gotta get back to London to work.
I will be up there early on Friday morning to set up camp, then i will get off to pick the boy up after school nearby.
