Cambelt tensioner ?

Hi

Which hole does the cambelt Tensioner Peg fit through on the Tensioner on a 2.5 TD ? I Say the Slot but Mate says the Hole Thanks

Never done the job but looking at the diagram in the workshop manual it looks like the tensioner bolt goes through the slot and is then tightened when the spring takes up the slack.

So the Peg goes through the hole in the tensioner ? Thanks
