What I have done is
to e-mail doone direct(got his e-mail address from his reply) to ask if he could have a look for me
at his garage.I hope he doesn`t mind the e-mail.I am about 30 miles from him.Thank you all again.

Doone is Allan's wife.

Hiya folks,just reporting the outcome of the problem with the gearbox.I took my Bongo to Allan`s
garage on the 2nd July,and he fixed it,knew what the cause was straight away! It was the oil in
the gearbox that needed renewing,and the Bongo runs a treat since Allan did the oil change.
Allan gave me a few tips and advice which you don`t get from a lot of garages!Good man to talk
to and will listen too! Thank you all for your help once again,Eric.
