These lights are a telltale sign, but it's worth noting that they do not always come on when an alternator is faulty.

MAybe I should explain it a bit differently.
Does the Bongo have a "battery" light that comes on when the ignition is switched on, because I dont seem to have one of those

Whats a charging light, and a sediment light look like, whats the "picture "

Red light on left of instrument cluster says "Charge" (picture of battery) - red light on right of cluster says "sediment"(picture of fuel filter with sediment at bottom).

Nope, mines an old shape.
These lights don't just come on when there is a fault do they ?
They should be there when you turn on the ignition, and then go out when it fires up ?

Mine come on with the ignition and go out when the engine starts.

As I thought, Thanks.
Can anyone please advise where the fuse is that controls the battery warning light and or the sediment warning light ?
Being as both my lights are missing, maybe a fuse has blown or something .

Or else the last owner has disconnecetd the lights to disguise a problem or :?:

Any help on the fuses for those two appreciated.

Its the 15 Amp fuse 10 by the drivers knee, this powers the whole dashboard.

Th bulbs may have blown, if it was the fuse then you wont have any lights on the dash if its powered by only 1 fuse.

You can get the bulbs from any motor factors type spares shop for a quid each, take your old ones to compare thoe, they have loads of different types, its just a bulb in a plastic screw type housing, but you have to get the right screw type. (well they aint actually screw type, they have grooves with a lug type thing to lock into place

I found if you remove the holder, you can grab & pull, remove the bulb yeah!
With the wattage in hand Mazda do da glass bit, be sure you know the the bulbs the right fit.
You still use the same twist plastic holder, the light will shine results just cooler.
Avoidance of a dodgy twist fit & the cursing & fits, discussions disses, chance near misses.
Try the duffer in a slot that you know works first, be careful that da bubble don't burst.
Rewind, the parts guy has the spares, amazement do dis bulb replacement first.

Peace.
