I know I'm in danger of looking stupid (again), but I'm not sure if it opens or not. The rear one the other side has a different catch on the inside and opens, the nearside one has a hinge with a pin through that looks like it could but doesn't. Am I, in the words of my 4 year old, being a silly doughnut....

Hehe, I'm glad someone else posted this! I noticed it didn't open when I was looking at my van to buy, and the seller didn't know why it wouldn't, just said they had never used it. I realise it had a different latch so probably shouldn't open, but it wasn't until a few days later when sliding the door open with the door window open that I saw the light!! Felt rather pleased with myself for working it out

Ahh Yes, I see.....I am a silly aunt but nowhere near as gormless and eatty as the above aunt...he is the aunt of all aunts....
