If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Saturday night----Just looking at Davey's post (DBlake) Very useful info- Thanks Dave :D Since there is a special event on with Monster trucks, for those visiting Legoland Saturday, not finishing until 6pm , it is unlikely you will be back in time for the usual "food time" 4-5pm. Unless you are eating out. Would you like us to change the usual time to say 6pm-7pm, or I could just put something in the oven/microwave when you return. We are doing "Basic food" this weekend, as we won't have space for BBQ. We are picking up our new wheels :D 8) .
I thought - Chilli, hotdogs, sausages, beans cheese, salad and Jacket potatoes or rolls, to put it all in. All cooked on cooker and put on griddle to stay warm. Would that suit everyone ? Otherwise I will try and squeeze a small BBQ in.

Anna
If you do not mind, I will talk to Jackie and bring along a curry or two to add to the table? Home made of course. I would think it would be nice if a few of us brought a little something along to help out with the grub. Only right and fair to Anna and Jimmy. I was going to bring them anyhow to feed my rent a crowd, but I am happy to put them on the table for all to try.

See you're all organised then. Hope you managed to book us in Anna. Looking forward to it, but I have to read the posts to see what is going on. Too busy at the mo, bottling wine. :P

The food is all taken care and ordered, so don't worry. Thank you,for your concern Dave :D if you really want to bring a curry, that's fine, some may prefer it to chilli :) I'm Not bringing the big table though, so may have to borrow one for an hour.
There will be plenty of food and probably jacket potatoes too. My resident chipman will no doubt have his chip pan on too
If we have too much we will end up throwing a lot of it out again, which is a shame. Cakes etc I have not decided, so can be an addition :D I find Kebabs, ribs etc, don't go so well, or I probably just do too much
Food list to Date:-

Jacket potatoes(if my Oven will take 25)
Rolls
Chilli con carne & Rice
Burgers
cheese
Hotdogs
jumbo Sausages
SPAM (of course)
cheese and onion Quiche
fried Onions
Beans
coleslaw
Doritos etc
and anything else that I have forgotten

Hi All,
That last post I made, might not have sounded as it was meant. #-o If anyone wishes to bring food, because they might not favour the menu, or want something extra, that's fine, bring it along :D I was just trying to say that there will be plenty of basic stuff there. I won't let you go hungry  We are an easy bunch, so no problems whatever :D Not long now, \:D/ so I had better get into gear and get my organised head on, if I can remember where I put it

Hi Anna

We may be doing our disappearing act again on Saturday evening after legoland, and returning later. If so, you're welcome to liberate the two tables we'll leave in our tent, if they're of any use to you.

Thanks Lee, That's very kind of you. We have to collect our wheels the weekend and I will have to make space, so it would be great if we can use a table of yours, if needed. :D

Cheers Anna

Hi bongo lovers. Our bongo has finally arrived from Japan, but we still can't work out whether to go for a rear or side conversion. We're tending towards the rear conversion, but not sure about the practicalities of cooking if it's pouring with rain.

Would anyone mind if we came along to the meet during the day on Saturday in the hope that we might be able to chat to a few people and look at the various layouts.

Really looking forward to being up and running and in a position to join you all properly in due course.

Hi Sparky,
I would loved to have had you along, but the places are all taken and they insist on a 2 day minimum stay :( I have phoned ,but unable to get a space. If you phone them direct, you may be able to get a space in the normal site at regular cost. Sorry I can't help more, it would have been nice to meet you.

Cheers Anna
