Head Bolt Torques
Could someone please supply me with the torqe settings for a 2.5 diesel bongo. This is the WLT motor.

As far as I can work out from the Service Manual there are 3 tightening stages:
1) Tighten to 29Nm (3.0 kgf.cm)
2) Tighten each bolt by a further 90-105 degrees
3) Tighten each bolt again by a further 90-105 degrees
However I haven't done the job, so you might be best to wait until someone who has comes along & confirms the procedure

And just in case, and not that I know much about it all but people often point it out, a reminder that the bolts are use once only stretch bolts - the old ones should not be used again. Apologies if you know that (I'm sure you do) but best said just in case.
PS - if in a hurry then have a search on here as I'm sure the figures have been given out before by people like Dandywarhol and Simon Jones (just two who come to mind) who have experience
